As a temporary worker or hourly paid nurse, you will work at one or more of Malmö's 39 care and nursing homes. Please indicate your preferred geographical area in your application. Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in a care and nursing home, you are responsible for the care of the patients. This means you independently assess, plan, and organize medical and nursing interventions. You are responsible for guiding, educating, and delegating to nursing staff.

You work person-centered, involving the patient in decisions and collaborating closely with relatives and the team around the patient. You regularly collaborate with primary care through rounds with a patient focus. You will also cooperate with several actors according to the health and medical care agreement, which includes the region, municipality, and primary care, to meet the individual’s care needs.

In our care and nursing homes, we work with quality assurance systems BPSD, Senior Alert, and the Palliative Register. It is important for us to work based on the City of Malmö's values: Respect, Engagement, and Creativity.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. The requirement for previous work experience is removed in this summer advertisement.

In addition to your license, you have:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Basic digital competence

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working with individuals who are multi-sick and/or have dementia
• Experience from municipal health and medical care
• Professional experience as a nurse
• Specialist training in a relevant area
• Experience collaborating with other actors in care and nursing

As a person, you are flexible and structured. You take responsibility for your tasks and work well with others. Furthermore, you communicate clearly and create engagement and participation with your colleagues while valuing differences and understanding how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others.
